Booking & Service Policies

01. Booking & Payment

A 50% deposit of the total service fee is required at the time of booking for paid services. This deposit reserves your appointment and is applied toward your total balance.

For custom projects requiring an individualized quote, the total price and deposit amount will be confirmed before work begins.

Any additional services, expanded project requirements, or fees will be discussed and approved before additional charges are incurred.

02. Cancellations & Rescheduling

I understand that life happens and sometimes plans need to change. I simply ask for the same consideration of my time that I give to yours.

48 Hours or More Before Your Appointment

Appointments canceled at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full deposit refund, provided custom project work has not already begun.

Clients may reschedule once without an additional fee when at least 48 hours' notice is provided.

The original deposit will transfer to the new appointment, which should be scheduled within 30 days, subject to availability.

Less Than 48 Hours Before Your Appointment

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will generally result in forfeiture of the booking deposit, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Late rescheduling requests may be treated as cancellations requiring a new deposit.

Unexpected circumstances and emergencies may be considered individually.

Missed Appointments

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit, subject to applicable law.

A new booking and deposit will generally be required to reschedule.

If The Bew Edit Needs to Cancel

If I need to cancel your appointment, you may choose a full refund of your unused booking payment or reschedule without an additional fee.

These policies do not limit any cancellation or refund rights provided by applicable law.

03. Personal Styling, Color & Beauty Services

Every recommendation is developed around your individual features, preferences, lifestyle, and personal goals.

Services may include personalized styling guidance, color analysis, wardrobe recommendations, makeup instruction, beauty routines, and confidence-focused support.

Results and preferences naturally vary from person to person. Recommendations are intended to provide guidance, practical tools, and greater confidence in your own choices, rather than guarantee a specific personal outcome.

Personal styling and beauty consultations are advisory services. Skincare and cosmetic recommendations are not medical diagnoses or treatments.

04. Graphic Design & Creative Projects

All graphic design projects begin with an understanding of your vision, business or event needs, preferred style, and intended use.

Before design work begins, we will establish the project scope, agreed deliverables, total price, and anticipated completion timeline.

A 50% deposit is required before custom design work begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Once creative work has begun, cancellation charges will reflect work already completed, subject to applicable law and the written project agreement.

Any unused prepaid amount will be refunded when applicable.

Additional requests outside the original scope may require an updated quote and approval.

05. Design Revisions

Custom graphic design projects include up to five rounds of revisions within the original approved project scope, unless otherwise stated in your quote.

Revisions may include adjustments to colors, fonts, layouts, wording, or other agreed design details.

A major change in design direction, additional concepts, new deliverables, or requests beyond the original project scope may result in additional fees.

Any additional costs will be communicated and approved before work proceeds.

06. Digital Files & Printing

The Bew Edit provides graphic design services and digital design files only.

Final files will be supplied in the agreed digital formats appropriate for the project.

Clients are responsible for selecting their preferred printing provider, arranging production, and paying any related costs.

When a design is intended for printing, clients should provide any specific size, bleed, file format, or printer requirements before final design approval.

The Bew Edit is not responsible for printing errors, color differences, materials, or production issues caused by third-party providers.

07. Project Timelines & Communication

Project timelines depend on the complexity of the service, the agreed deliverables, and timely communication.

Estimated completion dates will be discussed before work begins.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, necessary materials, and requested feedback within a reasonable timeframe.

Delays in receiving project information, approvals, or feedback may affect the completion date.

If unexpected circumstances require a timeline adjustment, I will communicate the change as promptly as possible.

08. Final Approval & Delivery

Clients will have the opportunity to review and approve their design or personalized deliverables before final delivery, as appropriate to the service.

Once final approval is received, any outstanding balance must be paid before completed digital files or personalized recommendations are released.

Changes requested after final approval may be considered new revisions or additional work and may require a separate fee.

Final files will be delivered electronically using an agreed method.

09. Design Ownership & Usage

Clients are responsible for ensuring that any logos, photographs, text, trademarks, or other materials they provide are authorized for the intended use.

Ownership and permitted usage of final custom design work will be specified in the individual project agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, preliminary concepts, unused designs, working files, and third-party licensed assets are not included in final delivery.

Any transfer of ownership or commercial usage rights will be documented where applicable.

10. Personal Information & Privacy

Information shared during consultations is used to provide the requested services, communicate about appointments, and develop personalized recommendations or creative deliverables.

Personal photographs, style assessments, and private client materials will not be publicly shared for promotional purposes without permission.

Payments and appointment scheduling may be processed through third-party services, which maintain their own privacy and security practices.

11. Client Experience & Concerns

My goal is for every client to feel heard, respected, and confident in the experience provided.
